Biography

Get to know Lucas

Inspired by recovery. Built around the whole person.

Lucas’s interest in physical therapy began with his own knee injury in high school. Hands-on care and exercise helped him recover without surgery or injections, showing him the kind of impact he wanted to create for other athletes.

01

Bio

Lucas grew up in Coatesville, moved to Downingtown during high school, and still calls Downingtown home. Basketball and football were central parts of his early life.

After a high-school knee injury, a physical therapist used hands-on techniques and targeted exercise to help him recover without surgery or injections. The experience made his career direction clear: he wanted to help athletes heal, regain confidence, and return to the activities that matter to them.

02

Education

Lucas completed his undergraduate studies at Widener University in 2014 and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree there in 2017.

During a clinical rotation at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, he worked with people at especially vulnerable moments following life-altering incidents, including spinal cord injuries. The experience deepened his compassion as a clinician. Two additional rotations in sports rehabilitation settings confirmed his passion for helping active people regain their health and return to what they love.

Career

Before co-founding MYOLAB, Lucas practiced at Full Range Physical Therapy, Aligned Medical Group, and Instacare Physical Therapy. He became known for hands-on manual care and for working with CrossFit athletes, runners, weightlifters, high-level athletes, and people managing neck, low-back, and other spine-related conditions.

Conventional insurance-driven settings often required him to divide his attention among multiple patients, focus on one complaint at a time, and stop care once pain improved. He wanted enough time to listen, use his full hands-on skill set, and address the sleep, nutrition, hydration, exercise, and recovery habits that influence long-term health.

At MYOLAB

At MYOLAB, Lucas is building the care model he wanted as both an athlete and a clinician: focused one-on-one time, doctorate-level hands-on care, and a plan that continues beyond the moment pain settles down.

He treats symptom relief as the beginning, then helps clients restore movement, develop capacity, and connect rehabilitation with the training and recovery support needed for the next stage of their lives.
