Common questions

Q&A about our services

No. MYOLAB is a fee-for-service practice, and we are out-of-network with insurance plans. We made this choice on purpose. Working outside insurance lets us give you 30–60 minutes of one-on-one time with the same doctor every visit, treat the root cause instead of the billing code, and use whatever hands-on techniques your case needs without a plan limiting visit length or method. You can see every rate up front on our pricing page.

Insurance often dictates how long a visit can be and which techniques get reimbursed, which is why so many clinics double-book patients and lean on aides. As a fee-for-service practice, we answer to you, not a plan. You get the 30–60 minutes, direct doctor time, and a plan built around your goals. Most clients find that fewer, more effective visits with a doctor who actually knows their history is the better value, even before factoring in HSA/FSA savings.

Yes. Our clinical care is HSA/FSA-eligible, so you can use pre-tax dollars from your health savings or flexible spending account to pay for evaluations, follow-ups, and care packages, which is one of the simplest ways to lower your out-of-pocket cost. Bring your HSA/FSA card and we will take it at checkout.

In many cases, yes. On request we provide a superbill, an itemized receipt of your visit with the codes your insurer needs, that you can submit to your plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on your specific out-of-network benefits, so we recommend calling your insurer to confirm coverage before you decide. We are happy to answer questions about what the superbill includes.

No. Pennsylvania has direct access, which means you can see our physical therapist without a physician referral. You can request an appointment and start care directly with us. If your situation ever calls for imaging or a referral to another provider, we will tell you and help coordinate it.

Clinical evaluations and follow-ups are $165 (60 minutes) or $90 (30 minutes), with care packages from $600. Personal training is $110 one-on-one or $50 per person semi-private, and recovery starts at $20 per drop-in or $60 a month for a membership. You can see the full breakdown on our pricing page. Clinical care is HSA/FSA-eligible, and superbills are available on request.

Your first visit is a 30–60 minute new-patient evaluation for $165. We sit down with you, take a thorough history, run a hands-on movement and orthopedic assessment, and explain what we are finding in plain language. You leave with a clear plan and, in most cases, treatment that same day. Follow-up visits are $165 for 60 minutes or $90 for 30 minutes, and care packages are available: Jumpstart (4 visits, $600), Recovery (8 visits, $1,160), and Full Rehab (12 visits, $1,680). All clinical care is HSA/FSA-eligible. See all rates and packages on our pricing page.

Pricing is based on time, not visit type. Any 60-minute appointment, whether a new-patient evaluation, a re-evaluation, or a 1-hour follow-up, is $165, and any 30-minute appointment is $90. A new patient's first visit is not discounted, but discounts on later visits are available through our clinical packages and membership plans.

Booking labels are specific to each discipline, for example Chiropractic Visit, Physical Therapy Visit, and so on, so you always see language that matches the type of care you are receiving.

Clinical intake is request-then-callback. You submit a request through our contact page, and a member of our team calls you back to learn what is going on and schedule the right first visit. This short conversation lets us match you with the right clinician and make sure the 30–60 minutes is set up for your needs before you arrive. If you are on the fence, we sometimes offer a brief consultation to talk things through.

Dry needling uses thin monofilament needles to release tight, irritated muscle tissue and trigger points, which can reduce pain and restore movement. At MYOLAB our clinicians work at the top of their scope: our chiropractors perform both adjustments and dry needling, and our physical therapists perform both dry needling and manipulation. That means your care is not boxed in by a single discipline, and the technique you get is the one your body actually needs.

We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-medicine concerns: back and neck pain, joint and tendon issues, sprains and strains, post-injury rehab, and the nagging aches that keep you from training or moving well. Our integrated approach combines chiropractic, physical therapy, strength and performance, and recovery, so we can address the problem and help you build resilience against the next one. See the full list on our specialties page. Not sure if we are the right fit? Reach out and we will tell you honestly.

Yes. Beyond clinical care, MYOLAB has three departments under one roof. Strength and performance offers one-on-one training at $110 and semi-private sessions at $50 per person, and we recommend starting with a 30-minute assessment. Recovery and longevity is self-serve: drop-ins start at $20, red light therapy is $40, and memberships start at $60 a month. Many clients move from rehab into training and recovery so their progress holds.

It depends on the service. The medical-grade red light bed only needs about 12 to 15 minutes, so those sessions are booked in 20-minute blocks (three per hour). Private contrast suites are booked in 30-minute intervals, enough time to run the recommended protocol twice (10 minutes in the traditional sauna followed by 2 to 4 minutes in the cold tub). The open recovery room has no time limit, so guests can contrast as many times as they like. For a la carte drop-ins, there is no time limit when you use the open recovery room; if a private contrast suite was not booked, a 30-minute limit applies.

HBOT is part of our clinical services because of its 30–60 minute session format, with a la carte pricing and standard tier discounts starting at $90 to $100 per hour. Compression boots, foam rollers, and massage guns are not charged individually; they are available to members as part of their membership benefits.

Access is immediate. Once you sign up, you can book or reserve your preferred semi-private session time right away.

Not necessarily. Members with semi-private access sign up for designated one-hour sessions online or at the coach's discretion, and the groups are not fixed, so the makeup may vary from session to session. If you would like to be grouped with a specific friend or family member, just ask; we welcome those requests and accommodate them at the coach's discretion.

Grouping is left to the coach's discretion. Because sessions are capped at five clients per coach per hour, the coach's role is to modify and adjust each person's program accordingly. A college athlete and a 50-year-old client may train in the same session, with the programming adapted to each individual's needs.

Yes. We stand behind your care with a 24-hour money-back guarantee on your visit. If you do not feel it was worth your time, let us know within 24 hours and we will refund that visit, no hassle.

Not necessarily. Not everyone who sees our chiropractor gets an adjustment. Care is built around what your body needs that day, which might be soft-tissue work, dry needling, or guided movement instead. If adjustments are not for you, just tell us and we will work another way.

Yes. Many clients move from resolving an issue into a bodywork and maintenance routine, usually one to two visits a month, to stay ahead of flare-ups and keep training and performing at their best. Recovery membership makes this easy and brings the per-visit cost down.
