Neck & Arm Pain

Neck and arm pain treatment in Malvern that addresses the mechanics

Tension, restricted rotation, headaches, and pain that radiates down the arm often trace back to posture, training load, or old injuries. We treat the cause, not just the soreness, in 30–60 minute, one-on-one visits.

Why it happens

When neck pain travels down the arm.

Neck tension, limited rotation, and nagging headaches rarely appear on their own, and when pain, numbness, or tingling radiates into the shoulder, arm, or hand, an irritated nerve is often involved.

For active adults, this frequently traces back to posture, long hours at a desk or wheel, training load, or an old injury the body has been compensating for. Symptom-chasing with a rub-down or a single adjustment tends to give temporary relief, then the pattern returns.

Because we work out of network, we are not limited by insurance rules on time or technique. Every visit is 30–60 minutes, one-on-one, with the same provider, so we can address the mechanics driving your neck and arm pain and build a plan with physical therapy and hands-on care that actually holds.

Our process

How we get to the root cause of neck and arm pain.

Accurate diagnosis comes first, especially when nerves are involved. Here is how we find the source.

Assess and screen the nerve

Your first visit is 30–60 minutes with one provider who takes a thorough history, then runs a movement screen and hands-on and neurological assessment to map exactly where the symptoms are coming from.

Diagnose the driver

We identify what is irritating the neck or nerve, whether that is limited rotation, posture and load habits, or a compensating shoulder, and explain it in plain language.

Treat hands-on

In most cases we begin treatment the same day, combining adjustments, manual therapy, and dry needling to calm the tissue and take pressure off the nerve.

Load and progress

We restore mobility and rebuild strength through the neck, shoulder, and upper back so the relief holds and the symptoms do not creep back.

FAQ

Q&A about neck and arm pain

Nerves that supply the arm and hand exit through the neck, so when one of those nerves is irritated, you can feel pain, numbness, or tingling well down the arm. Part of our assessment is pinpointing whether the source is the neck, the shoulder, or somewhere along the path, so we treat the actual driver.

Yes. Many tension-type headaches originate from tight, irritated tissue and restricted movement in the neck and upper back. We address those mechanics with hands-on care and targeted movement rather than just managing the symptom.

Your care is matched to your exam and comfort, and we explain every step before we do it. Because our clinicians are full-scope, we have many tools beyond manipulation, including soft-tissue work, dry needling, and movement retraining, so we choose the approach your neck actually needs.

Progressive weakness, significant numbness, or symptoms that are rapidly worsening deserve prompt attention. We assess for these signs at your first visit and, if something warrants imaging or another specialist, we will tell you plainly and help you take the next step.

We are fee-for-service and out of network, with simple time-based pricing, and our clinical care is HSA/FSA-eligible so you can use pre-tax dollars. See pricing and membership for the full breakdown.
